This Hinge Pin and Nipple, also known as a Metal Barrel Hinge and Pin welds- on and comes with a greasable Zerk fitting so you can lubricate the barrel if your door or gate is having difficulty opening. This Steel Hinge measures 4 3/4” in Length x5/8” in diameter, with a flat surface that is about 3/4” wide allowing easier welding to your frame, door, or gate. The hinge has 3 main components - the top hinge, the bottom hinge, and the brass bushing between them.
The bottom hinge, which does not have the grease fitting on it, should be installed to your Trailer or whatever Frame you're using for your Door or Gate. The Top Part of the Hinge should be welded to your Door or Gate, and this will allow you to drop the door or gate onto the bottom hinge and allow it to open and close with ease.
