This set of 36 inch black nylon wrapped trailer safety cables are rated to 7,000 lbs per pair and feature a spring loaded clevis hook latch for easy connection between your trailer and truck hitch. Trailer Safety Cables are crucial for towing and trailering safely; if your Trailer and Tow Vehicle are to become disconnected at any point while towing, the Safety Cables act as a temporary backup that will allow you to keep some control over the trailer to safely pull over off the road and bring it to a stop.

This set of Trailer Safety Chains is made from Heavy Duty 1/4" braided steel cable and class 4 rated with a 7,000 pound breaking strength rating for the pair (3,500 lbs per cable). The black vinyl cable coating helps to protect the metal cables from rust and corrosion, so these cables are suitable for use on boat trailers and jet ski trailers, as well as utility trailers, enclosed trailers, and other land trailers. The Cables are self-coiling and have a full length of 36".
