This 8,000lb Disc Brake Kit is designed to fit the Rockwell American and ALKO 8k axles. This 8 Lug Brake Kit Features the common 8 on 6.5" Bolt Pattern, but uses 9/16" diameter studs instead of the standard 1/2" studs. This 8 lug integral brake kit will fit a #42 trailer axle spindle but does not come with bearings. The rotors take a 25580 Inner Bearing (1 ¾” inner diameter) and the 14125a out bearing (1 ¼” inner diameter) along with a 2 ¼” or 2 ?” inner diameter grease seal (it will vary depending on your spindle). This brake kit comes with 2 calipers (with their brake pads) and the caliper mounting brackets, all coated with a Dacromet coating for marine use to protect against corrosion from harsh weather elements.

You would also want to confirm that your trailer wheels would accommodate these larger studs because if your trailer uses ½” studs this kit would not fit or function properly on your trailer.
To install this brake kit on your Rockwell American or ALKO axle brake flange, you would need to purchase (8) ½” x 1 ½” bolts.
