Here we have a Red Square Incandescent Trailer Side Marker Light. This light is designed to be installed to your I-beam and C-channel style frames, however, this can also be used on a camper or cargo trailer as a clearance light. This light is easily installed via the single stud 1/4" bolt on the backside of the light. Simply drill a new hole, or use an existing hole in your frame to secure the light. This is a self-grounding light so mounting the light will also ground the light. All that needs to be done after the light is installed is to connect the black wire from your new side marker to the brown wire in your existing trailer wiring harness using butt connectors or scotch locks. Due to this side marker Light not being a sealed unit, it is not recommended for boat or jet ski trailers that are submerged in salt or freshwater.
