Kodiak Trailer Slip-on Disc Brake Kit All DAC 5 Bolt 10 inch w/ Hubs

This is a great disc brake set manufactured by Kodiak. This is one of their 5 bolt 3500lb capacity disc brake kits. This particular brake kit has Dacromet coated rotors and mounting brackets but is paired with their Dacromet calipers.  This kit is designed to fit on 3500lb capacity axles using the standard 4 bolt brake flange. This trailer disc brake kit comes with (2) 5 Lug idler hubs and will fit with 14 inch or larger wheels. This slip-on style rotor is great because your hub and rotor are separate pieces. Which means you can replace them independently of each other. This means if you get broken down on the side of the road due to a bearing failure you can replace your broken hub (which is commonly available) and still re-use your kodiak rotor. You must have 14 inch or larger wheels to use with this kit. Using Kodiaks slip on brake set will add about a 1/2 inch of overall length to your axle. This means that your tires and wheels will sit about 1/4 inch out further on each side.

Whats included:

This kit includes (2) 5 bolt hubs with inner and outer bearings with seals(2) dacromet coated 10 vented rotors. The vented rotors help dissipate heat quickly.  (2) dacromet coated caliper mounting brackets. (2) Calipers that are DACROMET COATED inside and out except for the brass fittings where your brake lines run in.  The calipers ride on (4) Stainless Steel caliper mounting bolts and come pre-loaded with brake pads. An installation and instruction manual is also provided.

Kodiak offers a 3 year warranty on all of their Dacromet coated parts, and against pad separation on their brake pads.
