All components of this kit are finished with Kodiak's corrosion-resistant Dacromet coating, which resists rust and corrosion better than raw steel or a standard zinc-plated finish. This brake kit can be seen on Trailer Axles ranging from 5,200lb Capacity to 6,000lb Capacity. This 12-inch slip-on rotor disc brake kit is a great choice for boat trailers and utility trailers alike, and will work great in freshwater, saltwater, and land use applications.
This kit is designed for Surge Brakes Only, and is not usable on Electric Over Hydraulic Systems. The EOH Style Actuator exerts a higher force on the Brakes than hydraulic surge actuation systems do. If you already have an Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator, or are looking to add one to your trailer, then you will want to use Kodiak's Standard 6 Lug Slip-On Dacromet Disc Brake Kit.
