This listing is for a Hot Dipped Galvanized Boat Trailer Cross Member. This is an 85 inch V Bend Style Cross Member designed to be welded or U bolted to your boat trailer frame. These cross members are the structural components of your boat trailer that keep your trailer frame squared and secured. If you are mounting this Cross Member to an I Beam trailer frame, you would typically use 1/2" x 3" x 4 5/16" trailer u bolts. In addition to providing structural support for your trailer frame, the cross beams also typically support your bunk brackets. Having a structurally sound cross member is crucial to having a safe working boat trailer. This is a 3" x 3" V Bend Style Square Galvanized Cross member with a 3" Center Drop. The V Bend Drop style is intended to provide extra clearance for the boats hull to prevent impact during loading and unloading. This Cross Member does not have a drain hold. If desired, simply drill a hole in the bottom side of the middle bend for drainage. Made from 11 Gauge Galvanized Steel.
