Dexter/Kodiak Integral Threaded Oil Cap Disc Brake Kit Dacromet Coat 13 inch 8 Lug 9/16" Studs 7,000lb Axles 13 inch

This Kodiak Brake Kit is designed to fit the Dexter or Lippert 8k Brake Flanges.  This 8 Lug Brake Kit Features the common 8 on 6.5" Bolt Pattern, but uses 9/16" diameter studs instead of the standard 1/2" studs.  This means your trailer needs to have 9/16" studs and wheels that accommodate the larger studs in order for this Brake Kit to work on your trailer.  If your trailer uses 1/2" studs, this kit will not fit or function properly. This kit also features rotors with threaded hub bores for use with 2 7/8" trailer oil caps, so you will not be able to use traditional push in style dust caps. This means that these integral rotors are designed for use with oil bath lubrication, using something like our 8,000 lb Kodiak / Dexter Trailer Hub Oil Cap and an oil seal sized for your specific spindle. You can also use traditional grease lubrication, you would just use the threaded dust cap and a standard grease seal. 

This Kit is designed to install to your Dexter or Lippert Axle's Brake Flange using (10) 3/8" x 1 1/4" Flange mounting bolts.

The Kodiak 8 Lug Integral Brake Kit will fit the #42 Spindle.  The Bearings are not included with this Brake Kit, but the Integral Hub/Rotors will fit the Inner Bearing 25580 (1 3/4" inner diameter) and the outer bearing 14125a (1 1/4" Inner Diameter), along with a grease seal (either 2 1/4" inner diameter, or 2 1/8" inner diameter.)  If you need bearings, we have Bearing Hub Kits for sale on our Bearings Category Page.  This brake kit also includes 2 Calipers, each with their respective Brake Pads pre-installed, as well as the accompanying Caliper Slide Bolts.  All of the parts are Dacromet Coated for Marine use and for corrosion resistance against salt water and the elements.
