This straight tongue coupler by Demco is made from heavy duty steel and is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Demco couplers feature their EZ latch system for easily securing the coupler to the 2 5/16 inch truck towing ball. This system auto latches in place with an audible click, and is removed by lifting the latch, and raising the trailer with the jack. With a 7,000 lb capacity, this model coupler is ideal for medium duty marine applications, usually single axle 6 lug trailers, or single/tandem axle 5 lug trailers. If you have a 3 inch wide trailer tongue, this is ideal for your trailer application. This product is typically used in heavy duty marine applications on trailers with Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes, and needing a capacity up to 7,000 lb. This bolt on channel coupler mounts to your 3 inch wide trailer tongue with 2 or 3 Trailer Bolts. The 1/2" Diameter trailer bolts are the ideal size.
