DeeMaxx developed the MAXX coating as a better, longer lasting layer of protection for their brake components against rust, making these DeeMaxx Trailer Disc Brake Rotors a great choice for any Trailer on the road, and the Stainless Steel Calipers included in this kit means these disc brakes will offer great performance to any freshwater or saltwater boat trailer as well.
All DeeMaxx Brake Rotors feature a unique rotor cross-section design that actively draws cooling air from the interior of the rotor, allowing for superior braking performance. DEEMAXX calipers have also passed the SAE J2681 brake test.
DeeMaxx Brakes fit the industry's most common, nearly standard parts. These 5 lug Integral Hub/Rotors, for example, use the common 5 lug (3,500lb) Trailer Bearing Combination of 1 3/8 inner diameter (Inner Bearing Number 68149) and 1 1/16 inner diameter (Outer Bearing Number 44649). Additionally, the caliper bracket installs to a standard 4-hole brake flange, the most common brake flange found on a 3,500lb capacity trailer axle. This Disc Brake Kit by DeeMaxx can act as a direct replacement for other popular Trailer Disc Brakes out there, like those by Kodiak or Tie-Down Engineering. It is always recommended to double-check all measurements to ensure fitment to your trailer prior to purchasing.
Additional Hardware may be required to install this Brake Kit to your Boat Trailer or Utility Trailer. This kit requires (8) Mounting Bolts (7/16” diameter x 1 ¼” long) to secure the caliper bracket to the Axle Brake flange. You may also need new bearings, this kit does not include bearings, but we have them for sale separately here.
