This is a Blue Vinyl Trailer Wire Butt Connector, used to bond your trailer's Side Markers and Tail Lights to your Wiring Harness. To install, you would first want to strip the wires you are looking to connect, leaving about a 1/4 Inch of exposed bare wire. From there, feed the exposed wire into one end of the wire coupling. Using a pair of wire crimpers, crimp the butt connector around the exposed wire. After crimping, a simple tug on the wire will let you know if your connection is tight and secure. Follow this same procedure on the second wire you are looking to connect to complete installation. No soldering required! This Wire Adapter is manufactured to fit 14 to 16 gauge wires, making this an option for a wide variety of trailer lights and side markers.
