This
is a self-assembly 7000 lb trailer axle kit. This kit comes with (1)
7,000 lb weight capacity trailer axle beam measuring 85.25", (2) #42 Spindles, and (2)
Spring Seats or some may refer to them as spring perches. It
is most common to see a

on trailers that are running 6 lug
or 8 lug
brake
drums
or idler
hubs.
For
mounting disc or drum brakes to your trailer axle, the included
trailer spindles come with a 5 hole brake flange to do so.
This
build your own axle kit is the optimal choice for anyone looking to
build a trailer from scratch or, anyone who needs to change their
broken or worn out axle with a new one. The spindles in this kit also
include a grease or zerk fitting to effortlessly grease your trailer
hubs and bearings with a grease gun. Now we want to note that the
included spindles and spring perches are designed to be welded on to
this black painted trailer 7,000 lb axle capacity beam.
Now
our axle
beam
is made of steel and is 1/4"
thick.
The
diameter of this axle beam measures 3”
and fits the included #42 accu-lube spindles.
This Kit also includes the necessary spindle hardware (washer,
castle
nut,
and cotter pin).
The
Tapered Spindle design of this 7,000 lb Axle has the following

Bearing Surface: 1 3/4" (most commonly accommodates a 25580
bearing number)
