This connector is designed to be installed onto your tow vehicle, allowing you to attach your trailers 6 Way connector plug and power all of the functions on your utility trailer, RV trailer, or livestock trailer. The wires of the tow vehicle need to be spliced into the terminals on the back of the Wiring Connector, then the Connector can be installed to your Tow Vehicle using 2 bolts (Not included). The connector's sturdy die-cast construction is designed to increase longevity and reliability so you won't need to worry about replacing it regularly.
Trailer 6 Way Connectors are often used to power the Tail Lights, Brake Lights, Turn Signals, Electric Brake Signal, Running Lights, and Auxilary Power. The Cover is spring-loaded to ensure that the connectors stay free from dust or other debris when not in use.
