This heavy duty flush mount lunette ring, also known as a pintle ring or military hitch, is forged together as one solid piece and has a towing capacity of 42,000 lbs. The 2 1/2 inch inside diameter fits pintle hooks, ball & pintle combinations or clevis bars and the 4 bolt pattern makes it simple to securely attach to your hitch plate and level your trailer while towing. The 4 hole pattern spacing measures 4 1/2 inch wide center to center and 4 1/2 inch tall center to center. The square base measures 6 1/4 inch from top to bottom, and is 6 3/4 inch from the back of the plate to the tip of the ring. Because this flush mount ring has a smooth back plate for flush mounting, it bolts easily to the trailer tongue nose using 5/8" bolts (hitch plate). This lunette eye is coated in a black powder coat finish providing scratch and rust resistance necessary to withstand the heavy-duty towing you take on every day.
